"Got a king size room facing parliament. Maybe because I didn’t get the most expensive room but the furniture was sooo painfully dated. The room air is stuffy I couldn’t get the air conditioning ti work. The couch and chairs in room is such an eyesore. The bed was comfortable enough but I feel like you can preserve its old charm with having things updated. Not habit not great. "Great location and the room was clean and well-maintained. We booked a city view room on a high floor, but it faced the construction side of the building and we were woken up early every morning by the noise. We stayed three nights and asked the front desk about switching to a room facing Parliament Hill, but were told nothing was available. My suggestion to the hotel: rooms affected by construction noise shouldn't be sold at full city view rates. It's not good value, and frankly, it's not fair...

"We had a wonderful time staying at the Arc hotel! Conveniently located near all the sights, restaurants and shopping, we parked our car and walked everywhere for our 3 day visit in Ottawa. The staff was some of the most welcoming and friendly people we have encountered in all our travels. Our room was clean, well appointed and quiet. "Overall we had a great stay. Even though it is an older property it is well maintained. Location is wonderful, we biked the trail into Ottawa both days. You can bike either Ontario or Quebec side with numerous crossing options. We will return. "
