"Lovely hotel, great facilities and best location, easy access to both Funchal town and the Lido area. Spotlessly clean and pool area beautiful. Staff super helpful, basic room and balcony very good. Would definitely stay again."

"The hotel has a great location next to the Cathedral. Only problem is that it’s hard to get to with luggage, since cars & taxis can not get to the entrance. All the employees were helpful, talkative, and enjoyable. The free breakfast has a huge assortment of goodies and even hot items.. The one problem I do want to address is parking your car. When I reserved, it said parking available.. For some reason, I expected it nearby and free. The parking lot is a good 15 minutes walk from the hotel....

"部屋にキッチンがあり調理できるが、ダイニングテーブルと椅子はないのでベッドに座って食べた。"

"The rooms were clean . The vie and location were excellent ."

"Lovely base with plenty of nice restaurants close by!"

"Fabulous hotel stay. Large room with very comfortable beds, house keeping excellent, breakfast very good with excellent hot and cold food choices. Amazing pool with various sunbathing areas and sufficient loungers. Good snack bar for lunches and drinks by pool. Good indoor pool with sauna and steam room. Walkable into old town, with supermarket, and good bars and restaurants in local vicinity."

"The location and views were amazing, but unfortunately, several aspects of our stay were disappointing. There was an overwhelming smell of vinegar in the room, and the patio was covered in ants, which really detracted from the experience. We were also shocked to discover that pool towels cost €10. Charging guests extra for something as basic as a pool towel feels unreasonable and left a poor impression. We can’t comment on the breakfast itself, as we had to check out before 7 a.m. We did,...

"Room was not clean and smelly"

"Nice place good location"

"We had a truly wonderful stay here. On the days we weren't out for a hike, we loved making the most of the outdoor pool, and the sauna was really pleasant too. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a brilliant selection, and the rooftop bar offers cracking views in the evening. Honestly, though, the staff were the real highlight—everyone at reception was super helpful and went the extra mile to look after us. Management should be chuffed to bits with the team. Would definitely recommend."

"Let's keep this place a secret. They were awesome."

"Can’t say enough good things about the property. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was nice and well equipped. The pool area was excellent. Full use of saunas, indoor pool was warm, outdoor a little too cool for my liking. The included breakfasts were more than expected. Lots of good options and the staff catered to my wife’s gluten free needs. Please leave tips for the hard working breakfast staff. The location was good, but the gps kept taking us on different routes and got us lost...

"One of the best places we have ever stayed! Our stay was absolutely wonderful and exceeded all our expectations! The property was exceptionally clean, with a breathtaking view and a spacious, comfortable apartment. There was a fantastic variety of entertainment options and sports facilities for the whole family, ensuring that everyone had something to enjoy. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food at the restaurant was delicious. Everything was perfect, from the...

"Very old . Need renovation"

"The food was very interesting. Some overcooked. There were ants in the dessert. We often resorted to the restaurants along the pier. They also forgot to put my birthday amenity until after we arrived but all in all the hotel was beautiful and had a very scenic view to gaze upon the mountains, oceans and sunsets. I wish it was closer to Funchal as it’s 40 minutes away and quite expensive to frequently travel to. The area is quite limited with activities so having a shorter stay would’ve been a...
