"The food was very interesting. Some overcooked. There were ants in the dessert. We often resorted to the restaurants along the pier. They also forgot to put my birthday amenity until after we arrived but all in all the hotel was beautiful and had a very scenic view to gaze upon the mountains, oceans and sunsets. I wish it was closer to Funchal as it’s 40 minutes away and quite expensive to frequently travel to. The area is quite limited with activities so having a shorter stay would’ve been a...

"Incredible location, right at the starting point of hiking trails. Breathtaking views. Delicious food. Super friendly and accommodating staff members!"

"Great stay and right at start of PR19 trail..2300 steps down to ocean. Only challenge was parking..but it was available with a 8min walk."

"The view is the best feature of the accommodation. The “market” is also a nice amenity. The rooftop has exceptional views. The kitchen was well-appointed with complimentary coffee pods, which was nice. Near a full grocery at the marina (but a warning not to use the store’s parking garage. We spent our indoor time mostly...

"Wij zaten in een prachtig appartement in een schitterende omgeving, met uitzicht op de Atlantische Oceaan. Onze gastheer en gastvrouw zijn leuke, vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen. Bij aankomst stond er een fles wijn klaar en lag er informatie over het huisje, de omgeving en tips voor activiteiten op Madeira. "

"+ Eine großartige Unterkunft mit tollem Blick auf das Meer! + Sehr hilfsbereites, freundliches Personal! + Großzügiges, sauberes Zimmer! + Sehr ruhige Lage! - Frühstücksbuffet hatte wenig frisches Obst und kaum warme Speisen! - die Lage ist etwas ab vom Schuss!"

"Fantastic holiday villa with 3 bedrooms with all of them their own separate shower and toilet. Nice view over the Atlantic Ocean and situated on a 5 minutes drive to Calheta where there is a beach and a supermarket dining options. We had a great stay in Madeira at Calheta Heights and would recommend this villa to everybody! Only remark we have, the TV set is quite small for such a big living room if you want to spend the evening "netflix-ing"."
