"We enjoyed our stay here. We usually have complaints about hotels but I don't think we have a single one. Our kids loved the koi pond and feeding the fish in the mornings. The food was good and staff was friendly. Everything was clean. We enjoyed the cocktail hour. We did order from the restaurant one night and while the food was good, it was $30 for a very tiny portion of meat and some polenta. That was disappointing. The pool and hot tub were great and overall it was a very nice experience."

"Beautiful property all around. The landscaping and design make you feel like you’re insulated from the outside world. Front desk was helpful and valet parking attendants were great. Kids enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and arcade after long days of exploring San Diego and the surrounding towns. It was nice to grab a quick coffee and breakfast item from the cafe and enjoy quietly by the bay each morning. The only complaints about staff/amenities involved the cafe and resort fees. "The grounds are beautiful. Well maintained. There were multiple events outside on the lawn. Breakfast at Greenfinch (?) was good and filling. The wait staff were attentive. The day we were at the pool, the cafe was closed. If you go to the pool, go early. If you wait, there may not be any chairs. We had to rent a cabana. Definitely not worth the money. In the first cabana, the TV didn’t work. In the second cabana, the fan didn’t work. We were told maintenance would come to fix it. That...
