"Clean and tidy and full equip. Great for families on a budget"

"Very quiet. Nice spa bath"

"Location was great. The rooms were modern, comfortable and very clean. Lionel’s restaurant was fantastic. Comfy beds and great shower. Would stay again"

"Beautiful location with access directly to the path around the lake. A great place to eat wiht a view of the lake only steps away. Quiet. Staff helped us with rooms all next to each other (3 rooms) and on the bottom floor a we were a group of 65 yr. olds. Only 1 washer/dryer on site that we could see. It would be nice if staff explained use and if there were special hours or access for the washer/dryer. Loved the kitchen area and the warmer towel rack in the bathroom was great."

"Really nice apartment"

"Smooth check in/ check out, property just as listed on the website, wonderful view, 10/10."

"Very clean room. I gave it 3 stars because it was a room wheelchair friendly with an open shower and a low sink. I made the reservation well in advance and I should have been asked at check in if I was OK with that type of room, which I wasn’t."

"Great stay in a clean and tidy unit with friendly staff. Highly recommend."

"This is a great place to stay and the setting I’d idyllic with the chalets among the trees. The restaurant meals we had were superb albeit a bit pricey. But it was worth it. Our hostess was charming and very friendly. We have stayed there now twice and next time we are passing thru Tūrangi we will certainly stay again."

"View was amazing and room was comfortable. Could use a touch up but everything else was great."

"Great location, close walk to cafe's and waterfront. Room was clean and sunny. Very comfortable bed and pillows. We ordered a continental breakfast which was delicious. Laundry facilities were helpful and the staff were great. I would highly recommend and will definitely be staying there again."

"Room was clean. Easy check in process. Bed was comfy. Great location"

"Our hosts were very kind and helpful. Also, the place was very clean and tidy. Overall great stay!"

"We were greeted by Anthony a Wonderful Host at Colonial Motel, explaining details & taking time to show you to your Room. Spacious Studio Unit, clean & centrally located to Restaurants & across the Road from the Lake. Thank you Anthony, we enjoyed our four night stay."
