"We had a lovely stay at Hythe Imperial. Our experience largely positive. Staff very friendly. Our room however was like a sauna, with scalding hot radiators in June that you cannot turn down/off. Breakfast very basic and cold. Definitely not worth the extra £17 each. Take the 10 minute walk into town if you can. Food in the restaurant was nice but slightly overpriced. Will probably return but during winter when rates are a bit cheaper."

"The room was roomy and clean. The only thing not good was you had to step into the bath to use the shower and there was no handle bar on the wall to hold on to. The staff was helpful in looking after our cases when we arrived before we could go into the room."

"First visit here with a group of friends celebrating a birthday. Good size room with huge tv and a balcony overlooking the golf course. Fantastic hotel, good food and great service."

"The room was decadent, stately and incredibly clean. It was like walking back in time. We loved the garden and grounds. We only wish there was less golf and more woodland trails. The staff were wonderful and full of great stories. We will return one day. "

"A well-renovated Victorian seaside hotel. Friendly and professional receptionist meant a smooth and rapid check-in. Room 102 very clean and renovated to a good standard. Nice toiletries and plenty of clear spaces for my things. Only thing that slightly marred the experience was very unpredictable internet that disappeared fairly frequently. Didn't use the bar or restaurant as attending a birthday event nearby"

"Stayed here for 1 night to be close to Winters Barn for a family wedding. Place was easy to find, clean and comfortable. Shower hot and large rainforest style head which i loved. Staff friendly and accommodating, i needed an extension lead to dry my hair as no plugs near the mirror and the team were accommodating. Breakfast was nice too. Would stay again. Its also a short drive to main Canterbury city center. "

"Hi we stayed at Guesthouse 42 for one night as we were in Margate for a concert in Dreamland. This Guesthouse is in a brilliant location for everything in Margate. The rooftop bar gives an impressive view of the beach and harbor. The rooms are very well presented with a fridge, hair dryers, clothes steamer, tea and coffee machines, safe etc. Complimentary toiletries smell great.
