"Room was nice. Restaurant service and cleanliness let our stay down. The first night, the chairs were dirty with food crumbs and our food came before our drinks. Second night my husband did not receive his drink. On our last day, we had breakfast and the staff were not clearing tables, guests were having to ask for food to be replenished. Stayed a couple of years ago and had a lovely stay, which is why we decided to return. Unfortunately it has gone really down hill. Will not be back"
"We stayed one night at the hotel The restaurant was very nice and we both enjoyed our meals there , both dinner and breakfast. the room we booked was a superior room, we were a little surprised to find 2 bunkers in the room (as well as the king bed) but it was quite spacious in the room so it was ok."

"We had a fantastic stay! Our “standard double” room was better than expected, comfortable bed, spacious, great bath and good water pressure in shower. The choice and quality of food both at breakfast and dinner was excellent, well priced and very tasty. Perhaps the stand out feature of the Beaumont is the staff, without exception..their friendliness and attention leant to a welcoming and relaxed stay."

"I had a very bad experience with this hotel, it’s not a hotel, it’s not 4 star, there isn’t breakfast, no wifi and the owner doesn’t care.
The rooms are not actually attached to the bar/restaurant downstairs so upon check in I I had to ask around as I was not given any instructions, where the barman gave me the owners number and I just had to keep calling until she picked up the phone to tell me the code to the lockbox.
The room was fine but nothing special by any means. Breakfast is a room...

"The scotch Arms was one of the most beautiful B & B I have stayed in. It was well decorated, maintaining the integrity of the old, yet modernizing for today.
Our host Diane was extremely helpful, especially in organizing lunches and a taxi. Provided a map for walking around town & where to eat! She went out of her way to provide comfort.
