"The staff members of the Stanley Hotel are friendly and helpful. They allowed us to store our bags on our last day after check out until our taxi came to take us to the airport. Check out is not until noon and that extra time makes for a more relaxed experience. The rooftop bar and pool are awesome as is the view of the Parthenon from there. The only negative is not being allowed to flush toilet paper. It is my understanding that has to do with the Greek sewage system not the hotel. We got used...

"hotel has nice lobby but rooms are small but that is expected. bathroom a little uncomfortable and not mucb room for bags. breakfast is ok and area not so nice to walk. not really worth walking since taxi are super cheap. most of athens doesnt look safe if you are wondering. tons of graffiti all over city so get used to it."

"Location was great, clean, nice staff, bar/ restaurant had amazing view of Acropolis. The only disappointing thing was that the room for a couple was extremely small, no where to put & open 2 suitcases. Asked gentleman at front desk if he could please move us, he said no rooms available, when there clearly was as we looked online !!! That room was not worth the money paid !!! "

"This hotel was cozy , clean with courteous staff. We stayed for 3 nights . Staff gave us information about Athens, gave discounted tkts for hop off hop on bus. They arranged our taxi service to the port. Breakfast was good. They always had lemonade at the front desk that guests could have when they came back from tours in that hot weather. Recommend it as it is close to the restaurants and bus stops. "
