"We stayed only one evening. Young woman on reception was friendly and smiley. Ordinary double room was very clean with a lovely soft comfy bed. We had the carvery in the evening which was wonderful. Amazing value for money. Breakfast was delicious with friendly helpful staff. We would definitely recommend this hotel. Our thanks to all staff for a happy stay. "

Farm Footpath The farmer isn't keen for walkers to use this path - he appears to have dumped several tonnes of rubble and chained a gate up at its access point at the road. Fortunately, the public footpath arrow was still visible, so I ventured around the obstacles and went on to it for this photograph!
