"Booked a last minute getaway and picked the Malmaison doe to price and location. Upon arrive we were greeted with a spicy margarita. Check in was really speedy. Room was nice, shower was good, bed was comfortable but slightly on the small side (I’m used to a king size bed) The bar downstairs was great, the bar staff were friendly and worked really hard. Happy hour 5-7 was a great bonus! Location is great, easily walkable to everywhere. Would recommend and would stay here again"

"Overall the hotel is run down, would go to Doubletree next time. It also only does breakfast until 0930 which given business needs really is poor."

"Bathroom wasn’t the cleanest and the sink plug was stuck when we first arrived. However, called reception and they sorted very quickly. Lovely bar area and very close to the city centre."

"The room was very cold, heating did t work.. due to its location next RO a major junction lots of outside traffic noise"

"Needs a bar open on sunday afternoon lovely views but no bar to sit and take advantage of it"
