"Booked room for my parents and they were very disappointed with the whole experience. The check-in was delayed for more than 1 hour because the "room is not ready". This is simply unacceptable as they should have arranged alternatives to accommodate. The front desk was not helpful, did not offer any update of when the room would be ready while my parents were waiting. When the room was finally ready after more than an hour of waiting, my parents arrived the room and found it was not even clean...

"Last time I came to Huizhou, i stayed in Renaissance hotel. The price is about the same, actually Renaissance is better. But a good thing about Kande is that you can browse google using the wifi here. maybe there is automatic VPN or something. It is very convenient for business traveler. "

"Preface by saying what are your expectations for a $50 room in China. Hotel felt safe, rooms were average size (large) for China. The thermostat in my room was barely clinging to the wall, and read 28.5C for most of my stay though the room was cooler, and set temp was 12 degC. Decor was dated, there was some black mold in shower. Never tried the restaurants, front desk was helpful when I had to extend a day and laundry came back as promised. WiFi pretty slow, breakfast pretty disappointing...

"Nice, quiet hotel. Not busy at all. Outdoor pool was closed which was disappointing as I came under the impression that it was open but I was still able to sit out in a lounge chair anyway. Spa facilities were nice. Could have been cleaner. Room's A/C didn't work, staff moved our room."

"Spacious room and common area, very close to the traffic station, quite clean, quite cheap, however the sound insulation is not very good, always can hear the conversation that people across the corridor. And the included breakfrast was with very few choices and local style dishes."

"Our stay was fine. It was not great, but perfectly acceptable. The hotel is clean and the breakfast was OK, but that is it. There is a very nice bar just down the road, which is good, as there is not a bar in the hotel. There is a smell permanently in the air within the hotel which is not terrible, but not great either! The lobby area is massive, you could play tennis in there, but there is not one single seat. If you are waiting for somebody you have to stand around. "
