"Great hotel! We booked the hotel Hoping to get a view of Mount Fuji, but unfortunately we didn’t get to see it since it was cloudy and rainy. However, the onsen on the rooftop made it worth it. It was beautiful and clean. The room was small, but typical for Japan. There were also many walkable restaurants outside of the hotel and the subway was a 1 min walk away. Would stay here again! "

"The gentleman who spoke excellent English helped us when we drove up to the front is a very excellent representative and face for the hotel and demonstrates hospitality well. The overall hotel has the feeling of omotenashi which is rarer and rarer now as more foreign workers and more foreigners with a disregard for Japanese unspoken habits are hired in these hotels. " It's was a treat to stay in a traditional Ryokan-difficult to tell if this is really traditional or not. The onsen was nice, the futon beds were small and uncomfortable, the food looked spectacular but was pretty disappointing, very expensive dinner especially as there are so many nice places for a lot less near by.
