"Lovely hotel and the room was fantastic. The complimentary items were a great surprise! Location is ideal and safe. Staff very friendly. Only thing I’d improve would be the cost of parking for guests as at £14 a night it’s quite steep."
"We arrived to a building that looked like a building site. The car park was full so we were told to use the overflow car park which is not easy when you have big cases.
We were given the top floor room and when going to the lift found it was out of order. We had to climb four flights of stairs both days.
Not a good stay! Spoke to the management who were not interested at all."
"Here for three nights. Comfy bed, upper floor so the sun streamed in our windows, maybe a couple of issues with the toilet flush but, otherwise, an excellent stay.
Breakfast was hot and ample.
The ground floor bar was convenient and staff were great. Ate one evening in the ground floor Italian restaurant. Staff were great there too, food was good, the white wine wasn't chilled."
"Lovely large bedroom, massive bed! Clean bathroom, a little on the small side but ok. Quiet at night. Restaurant food very good fish and chips delicious with mushy peas, curry and tartare sauces. Breakfast buffet style- all hot and plenty to choose from. All in all a very pleasant stay."
"We arrived at the check in desk to be told we only had 1 room when I had booked 4. My booking confirmation said 4 but the girl behind the till was telling me I hadn't even when she had taken my phone. We were told to come back, we did and still to be told the same thing. There's no booking. We then came back after our reservation and the 2 gentlemen on the desk were very helpful and brought our booking up straight away"
