"Had an amazing experience staying here for 2 nights last weekend. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and even offered to upgrade my room for free. The hotel is in the center of the city and easy to get to pretty much everywhere. The room is extremely clean and comfy, I’d highly recommend this place if you ever plan to visit Shenzhen. "

"Hotel is nice and new, very clean. Club room floors are good but the club lounge is small for a hotel like this. WiFi is not good for westerner. "

"Relaxed 24h in March. Lots of families here, but 28 deg c but still quiet at the pool. I as a westerner enjoyed my meals outdoors while it was as typically quite loud inside the restaurant. Both Chinese and western food. The western food was good. Room was huge with a softer than typically Chinese beds, good for me. Nice balcony with a sunbed. Very friendly staff and you could always find someone who spoke English."

"I had stayed here several times before renovation which they apparently did during the pandemic. The categories of rooms have changed so I am not sure of the comparison but basically everything seems a bit upgraded; cleaner, with more modern fixtures and functioning better. Particularly the climate control which was previously an issue in the front rooms with large windows apparently is working well now. As before the staff are friendly and helpful. "Hotel location was excellent as Dongmen street market is right beside and also the Lao Jie MRT Station (underground) is also on the left side of the hotel building. However hotel need a revamp or reworks (renovation) as most of the ceiling and walls are turning yellowish and strong smell in the toilet and room. Furniture are also very old and creeky. "

"The overall environment is good and we enjoyed our two days stay. Could walk up to 1km on the beach. The only negative thing that really need consideration from the hotel management is rooms are smelly. They are too old and need renovating. Nevertheless, nice staff, delicious buffet with all sea food stuff. Worth mentioning is I read about someone who commented here about the hotel being closer to the Daya bay nuclear power plant;that is not a nuclear power plant. It is a coal fired power plant....
