"We had a great stay at Valle Escondido. Our room was very clean and the view was great. We got to see a lot of wildlife right by the building we were in because the resort was less busy in the rainy season, and we got lucky with the weather. We really enjoyed our night hike on the trails on the property - only wish it were longer!
Overall, a great stay. Food was good although variety is a bit limited in the off season."
"The hotel has the right kind of luxury for Monteverde, not flashy or high-tech, but everything is clean and nice, staff is helpful, the location is great and the place is beautiful. The sauna and the jacuzzi are GREAT, and we had monkeys crossing the trees above us while we relaxed there; the food is delicious. We loved our stay!"
"Great experience here. Only reason for the 4 star overall was because the price is high for what you get, the free breakfast was very limited due to the season we went and the jacuzzi’s were under maintenance so couldn’t be used."

"Rustic lodges in the trees, small family run property (only 4 lodges). Lovely owners, breakfast brought to your lodge each morning - eggs, toast, jam & fruit. Fridge, kettle and coffee maker in room. Although it isn't far to Monteverde you would need a car."
"We stayed for three nights. The rooms were spacious, clean, with comfortable beds. The staff is amazing (I’d like to call out Adonis who is part of the dining/bar staff) and very helpful. The breakfast is also really nice. It is conveniently located a short walk from the town center. Overall, ticked all the boxes."

Madvarer hunde/katte foder og madskåle til dyr stod midt på gulvet i køkkenet Værelse var fint. Blev først gjort rent på 3. dagen da vi bad om det. "
"We loved our stay at your spacious little apartment. The room was perfect and the plants and trees there were beautiful. Our host, Arelys, was very knowledgeable and helpful in planning our outings. Her experienced husband took us on a night walk in the cloud forest and taught us a lot about the local flora and fauna. It was very educational and a lot of fun. Pura Vida! "
