"We had a lovely time, so much history. We walked the grounds and couldn’t believe how vast the property was. So many interesting things like miniature horses, mule deer, pheasants and a few chickens. Amazing!! We were a little disappointed that the pools weren’t open. "

"I have good things to comment about Archisuites and unexpected things. Nothing bad except the soap dish was missing from the shower. These unexpected things may be just fine for other travelers. First the good. The room is immaculately clean, very spacious, and tastefully decorated. A/C worked well and excellent bed on the firm side. The bathroom has modern fixtures that worked well. Great location. We had an issue with the lock to our room, partially our fault. The landlord was very responsive...

"This is an older property, renovated and in excellent condition. My room had a dormer window that looked out over the hills and the rooftops of the city. The furnishings, lamps, rugs and artwork were beautiful. The bathroom was updated with exceptionally good design and function. This was Portuguese elegance at it most charming. "
