"The whole stay was amazing. The staff, the amenities, the lodge, the grounds … everything. My family loved the place and would definitely come back again.

"Lovely hotel my only criticism is the floors are very creaky in the bedrooms so you can hear anyone walking around day or night about you , we didn’t sleep well as the people above insisted on walk around constantly until 3 am , god only knows what they were doing. Left the family very tired the next day ( not good ) !"
"Had a wonderful stay for 3 nights in August. The hotel is beautifully located over looking a beautiful large sandy beach. Although there were many kids staying, it didn’t feel over run (other than a few overzealous dads throwing their small kinds over their heads in the indoor pool, which was a little unnerving)! The hotel was built in 1959 and looks a bit dated from the outside. However, inside it has been tastefully refurbished, though in keeping, and the facilities very good were up to spec....
"Loved it! However, I would suggest avoiding The Chapel for breakfast. We waited 45 minutes to be served and when we were eventually served, we were told our children couldn’t have pancakes 1.5 hours into breakfast being open and with another 1.5 hours to go. The food was bland and cold when it came. I’d definitely ditch the breakfast option to try out a local cafe instead! Apart from that, everything else was incredible!"
"The cobblestone parking was slightly challenging, and we weren’t expecting to be in a separate building from the inn, but the room was very comfortable and the large window had a great view which brightened up the space. The location was perfect, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. We appreciated that breakfast was included."
"Lovely stay at St.Moritz! A lot bigger than we realised but very nice. Lovely clean room & excellent bathroom. Everything we needed. Lovely fresh milk, quality biscuits and water in the fridge. It is called a cosy room but it was a lovely, well laid out room and the bathroom & shower was a good size. Lovely quality bedding, pillows etc. We loved the swimming pool, showers and changing rooms - great. The outside jacuzzi which you swim out through the pool doors to get too. We could have stayed...
"Perfectly located (bang in the middle of Fowey), extremely helpful staff, lovely spacious room with stunning view, and fab decking area over looking the estuary. Would definitely stay here again. The only downside is that there isn’t any parking so have to go to one of the town’s public car parks. Having said that, we pulled up outside the hotel, put all our luggage in reception before going to park the car."
"Amazing views, very lovely staff, easy parking, very clean and comfortably spacious rooms.
Only thing to note is that if the bar / restaurant is open and music on, and it's summer and you have windows open, it can get a bit noisy on the top floor. We stayed Friday and sat night so that might also make a difference. Parents were in room on cliffside below the restaurant and was much quieter there. Five stars easily even with this!"
