"We had Room 200 which large enough for us. The bathroom was immaculate and appeared to be new. Not much of a view but we were not bothered by this. Tea and coffee making facilities and comfy bed. The building itself was amazing as regards an old Spa hotel but some parts looked as though it needed some TLC. The earliest you go for breakfast the better as it gets really busy but the food is still plentiful. "

"Very quiet place next to the golf course/club. The room was clean with decent facilities, including a TV , one set of towels, kettle, coffee and tea, but no fridge and no shower cap. One member of staff, Jakub, was very, knowledge, friendly and an authentic helper. "

"The Manager of the Spa was amazing so was the gentleman on reception for sorting out a hairdryer for the room. Unfortunately the room we were given 119 is over the bar/kitchen area and the main fan kept me awake everything else was lovely "

"Enjoyable stay, lovely comfortable room, good facilities and nice touch with an in room mini fridge with fresh milk for tea & coffee. Great bathroom with a big shower! Bit of a hike to my room so negotiating stairs and carrying bags was a challenge. Free parking, but no spaces when I arrived which was a nuisance as I had to move my car a few times. I ate in the restaurant, great food and excellent service, really looked after me. Breakfast was included in room cost but unfortunately I had to...

"The hotel rooms were absolutely gorgeous. Lovely beds, pillows , bath r9bes. Bathroom spotlessly clean. Plenty if tea and coffee making facilities. Easy sccess and parking. Nice to.have a beautiful restaurant on the doorstep. The staff were polite and efficient. The managers attentive. Couldnt ask for more."

"The room was clean, well furnished and had a cozy feel. We would stay here again, however, there were some minor issues. The toilet flush ran continuously and was audible at night. The cover over the shower plughole was broken and the lead on the kettle was too short and had to be used on the floor. Also the mattress was too firm for us."

"A beautiful historic hotel that has lovely rooms and a great bar and restaurant. My only complaint is the lukewarm dribble of a shower. Just enough to soap up and rinse. "

"A very pleasant stay! Lovely large room and the bar and restaurant was great. Comfortable bed and good shower. They even made me food after the kitchen was closed. Only negative was the mini single use plastic shower gels and shampoos. Refillable soap and shampoo dispensers would make it perfect! "
