"I'd definitely stay at Joy 124 again! The reception staff spoke English very well and were always happy to help. Service was good in the bar/restaurant, with the kitchen staying open till midnight (really helpful since my flight was delayed and check-in at the hotel was well into the night). Breakfast had a good selection - and enough variety for any gluten-free/coeliac guest to enjoy 😊 If there was anything I could change, it would be to add a rug under the bed - an all-tile floor is not the greatest feeling under your feet first thing in the morning. Grazie mille to everyone working at Joy 124!"

"We had a lovely stay at this beautiful hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortable, and the location was extremely convenient, right next to the ferry port. The hotel restaurant was lovely, with great food and a beautiful atmosphere. The only unusual thing was the pool service — you couldn’t order snacks while sitting in the pool lounge area and had to be seated at a table instead. Overall, a beautiful hotel in a very convenient location, and we really enjoyed our stay."

"Very nice city view, clean room, comfortable bed/pillows, we really enjoyed our stay here. Great location, easy walking to restaurants and grocery. Breakfast was not as good as the standard we had at Norway, fruits were limited and not as fresh. Staffs were very friendly and helpful, no ice machines, but you can get it from the bar. We were there in August so it VN was nice to be able to get some ice in your water. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"Overall, our stay at the hotel was okay. The buffet breakfast was excellent, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, we had some minor issues. We expected more from a four-star hotel, perhaps because we’re not familiar with Italian hotel practices. For example, they only provided body wash, so we had to buy our own shampoo. The air conditioning wasn’t cold enough, making it difficult to sleep if you prefer a chilly room. Still water is only available on the ground floor. While they made our beds every day, they didn’t change the bed linens, which wasn’t a problem for us since we usually take a bath before bed. However, if you prefer daily bed linens, this might be an issue."
