Awesome Hotel At A Reasonable Price

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights during Design Week (we weren’t aware it was Design Week). After finding out it was such a week in the city, it made sense as to why prices were high when we were trying to book a hotel. The hotel is about a 20 minute taxi ride from the center of the city (Duomo area). However we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The entire staff was excellent, the hotel is in great shape, the room was spacious and was cleaned properly every day, and the breakfast buffet was great. There’s also a very good restaurant directly across the street, literally a 2 minute walk from the hotel.

The hotel claims 4 star, sadly it may have been 4 star 20 years ago but not now, it’s tired and dated. The toilet flush did not work properly and had to be fixed, the bathroom door was rubbing against the floor. Staff were helpful, breakfast ok. It’s about 15 minutes walk from the nearest station which was a bit of trek in wet conditions but that’s my problem. It’s a bit far from central Milan, more a residential area that you might prefer.

The hotel was a nice place to stay. Its a little out of the centre, but managed to get to it easily and cheaply by using the tram. Its a short walk from the tram stop. The room was cool and had blackout shutters, which was well needed during the summer. Breakfast was good also. Check-in/out was easy with no isues

Séjour très décevant pour un hôtel 4 étoiles. Le détecteur incendie clignotait toute la nuit juste à côté du lit, rendant le sommeil difficile. La climatisation faisait un bruit comparable à une machine de chantier. Le couvercle des toilettes faisait énormément de bruit (audible même depuis les autres chambres) et la porte de la douche était dangereuse avec des bords coupants. Présence de décorations de Noël oubliées sur le balcon, ce qui donne une impression de manque d’entretien. Petit déjeuner correct mais loin du niveau attendu. Globalement, les prestations ne correspondent pas du tout à un hôtel 4 étoiles.

Salle de bains récemment refaite et très agréable (à part le sèche-cheveux des années 70 qui sèche mal les cheveux mais qui vous brûle la main). Chambre propre et confortable mais la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas, C’était très embêtant puisqu’on ne peut pas ouvrir la fenêtre à cause du périphérique qui passe juste devant l’hôtel et du bruit qu’il génère. La chambre était beaucoup trop chaude, même pour un mois de février. Le personnel était sympathique et j’ai apprécié de pouvoir garer ma voiture dans le parking souterrain. La décoration est très désuète, Elle plaît peut-être aux personnes centenaires, mais personnellement je pense que l’hôtel mériterait vraiment d’être pris en mains par un décorateur pour un bon coup de jeune
