The hotel is very close to the San Marco/San Zaccaria area, so once we arrived by boat we were immediately in the heart of Venice. St. Mark’s Square and many major attractions were just a short walk away. Family room has double bed (larger than king) and two twin beds. Expedia listing has a queen but actually it is larger. Breakfast is also worth it."

"The night we arrived there was a power outage for 2 hours and 25 minutes, the staff informed it was not only at the hotel, but also at couple of buildings in the area. The electricity was reestablished but by midnight there was another outage. The next day there was not hot water in the entire hotel, me and my family had to take a freezing cold shower that night.
