"Recently I stayed for four nights and as I was working over the weekend. My checkin experience was brilliant, very helpful, held my luggage as I drove from Reading. Every day, all my requests for fresh bedsheet etc was done - and a smiling, friendly staff.
Only one quip - bathrooms are tad too small :)"

"Whilst the room was clean and the bed comfortable, the room was very tired. There were no power sockets near the beds, so we were unable to charge our phones. The room did not have air conditioning and so was incredibly hot. This was in September, I dread to think how hot it would have been in the height of summer"

"The room was immaculate and the staff very attentive. The breakfast was amazing, with so much choice, and the bar was a lovely, relaxing area with very helpful bar staff. Our afternoon tea for two was delicious and very refined.
We also loved the Agatha Christie connection to the hotel and it was lovely to see other guests dressed up in Agatha Christie era outfits.
