"Second stay at this hotel and room was very clean with a large bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good but coffee could have been hotter. Bar area was good with plenty of choice of drinks. Located in a nice quiet and secluded venue and ideal for visiting York and surrounding area."

"Hotel is central. Bed is small for two and you hear noise for the other rooms."

"Clean + friendly staff + good for families "

"Great hotel 10-15 minute walk into the centre. Generous sized rooms. Breakfast was great and lots of choices. Great value for money."

"nice hotel although looking a little "tired""

"They should put out information about no amenities and services like telephone, iron, microwave and fridge. We should know before hand before we book"

"My parents enjoyed their night here, thank you"

"The staff were amazing lia and brijendra thank u so much!"

"Location"

"The room was clean but the corridor carpet needs a deep clean and proper hoovering. Aldo kitchen staff needs more training how they should talk to their customer with their request. Jane was very helpful and quickly sorted breakfast out for us. Shortage of staff can not be a excuse for not providing the service."

"Lovely stay! Very convenient"

"I booked a room for my solo trip. It was a lovely room and the staff were kind. The room was very clean and quiet. It's very close to Minster and city centre!"
