"Hotel Indigo may be the prettiest hotel I have stayed at, and especially for a book lover. You know a hotel is pretty when you're taking pics of the general bathroom stalls and sending them to you friends. But seriously, what an amazing hotel. Every part was beautifully set up my room was delightful and lovely. The staff were so helpful, both from taking my luggage when I was too early for checkin (and took it up and had it in the room ready for me) to recommending where to go and what to do....
"Convenient for parking but general state of property was poor. In need of some updating. Carpets were grubby everywhere and our room was very hot though they did provide a fan. Unfortunately we were bitten by mosquitoes in the room.
The bar was only opened for limited hours. We did not eat in the restaurant though a fellow guest said to us his experience was not good. Poor quality food and bad service."

"We had requested a ground floor room away from busy areas in the hopes of not being woken up too early. Sadly, this hotel has very thin walls and slamming doors so no such luck.
The bathroom was dirty and in desperate need of refurbishment. The seals around the bath were black in places and the sink was partially blocked so took a very long time to drain. I don't know what had been left in the plug hole but it looked disgusting.
The bed was two singles pushed together, which is never a good...
"The hotel was set in a beautiful part of the country, the receptionist was pleasant and informative. We had a lovely clean and nicely decorated room with good storage in keeping with the hotels age.
The bathroom was clean and effective with a walk in shower.
The room had good security on the door, a safe and fridge would make good additions.Parking
was excellent."
"Room was quirky, as was the Manor House. No tv in the bedroom, no shower, or tea/ coffee facilities. Very small double bed. We were told if we wanted a drink we could ask but it would be served downstairs. Reception was closed between 9pm-8am. Poor Choice of wine by the glass. First choice not available. Outside was definitely in need of investment and general taking care of. Grounds were overgrown and quite shabby. Outside the restaurant was under fig trees which was very overgrown. We...
