"The room was clean and had a very comfortable bed. The shower was powerful. Good soundproofing, couldn't hear anything from the rooms.
Disappointed with the breakfast, we had the continental as on an early flight, which would have been fine if there was anything, coffee machine wasn't working, hardly any pastries. We still had to get breakfast and coffee at the airport which after spending £186 on the hotel was quite frustrating. The main door wasn't working and very heavy to open and one of the...
"Great hotel in a handy location...easy flat walk into the city. Everything is fresh and clean and the breakfast has a great choice. The only thing that lets it down is the extortionate cost for parking...way beyond anywhere else in Bath! We ended up using JustPark and paying £16 for over 24hrs parking rather than the £50 at the hotel!"
"I’ve booked the hotel wanting to use the pool as I had over 6 hours drive to get there and sadly it closes at 8 on a Friday. The room didn’t have any extra locks, the telephone didn’t work and the bed was very uncomfortable. I couldn’t sleep because of the noise of people chatting outside by the window of the room and you can literally hear EVERYTHING from room to room. I didn’t feel very safe as an alone woman without a proper lock in the room and a non working telephone (which they came to...
"Staff were very helpful, I turned up early and they checked my car in and completed all the check in forms ready for 3.00 . Room was clean and amenitys were good."
"It was great to stay in a place that felt trapped in the past.
Even with the building being hundreds years old, the room was really clean and I was impressed with the standard.
The room was very spacious and comfortable to stay in.
Breakfast options were good and freshly made to order."
"Clean comfortable room evening entertainment was great for the elderly! However we was 3 ladies attending an event else were but we did pop in the bar were their was a male singer who was absolutely amazing with his lovely dog. The bar could do with more selection of drinks, very limited!"
"Everything was great. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is very well organized and maintained. It is also an excellent choice for families with children, offering a comfortable and welcoming environment. We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend it to other travellers."
