"The rooms were clean and the hotel was exceptionally clean and very well maintained with lots of FREE parking ,staff were very friendly and helpful and welcoming nothing was to much trouble ,didn,t have time for breakfast but we did have our evening meal there ,10 out of 10 for the food and service would highly recommend"
"The rooms were clean, the parking is great and if you travel by train its opposite the station.
There is no food options for dinner, but you can order in and sit in the dinning room, which is lovely and charming.
I love this hotel. I think its run for and by YMCA(but could be wrong)."
"The room was a bit grim, worn grey carpet, no pictures... However it was clean.
Mattress was the most uncomfortable I've slept on for many a year, but I was so tired I slept okay.

"Friendly staff, really good size room, nicely decorated. Let down by a really uncomfortable mattress that was lumpy and uneven plus a foul smell of fungus in the bathroom. The bathroom itself looked clean, so I suspect it originated in the drains."

"Clean comfortable room evening entertainment was great for the elderly! However we was 3 ladies attending an event else were but we did pop in the bar were their was a male singer who was absolutely amazing with his lovely dog. The bar could do with more selection of drinks,very limited!"
