"We stayed 1 night and throughly enjoyed our time. We wish we had stayed longer. We arrived at the property after spending the day exploring Hakone. We had taken the pirate ship across Lake Ashi and then took a bus to the stop right outside the ryokan. We were instructed to remove our shoes and don the provided slippers. "I rate this a 5+ hotel! Walking distance to the train station too. Great staff and free Happy Hour drinks. I could not beat the price anywhere else and I wish I had booked this hotel for longer. We saw no other non-Japanese tourists here which we loved. Beautiful town to walk in and it has a wonderful aquarium too."

"Everything about this location was beautiful. The staff was really kind and helpful. The room was great with the inside onsen being the highlight of the room. We especially loved the cute little characters decorations outside the hotel like Kuromi. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at and would definitely recommend if you are staying in Ito."
"This was our first experience at a ryokan and it did not disappoint. It far exceeded our expectations The food was amazing and the staff’s hospitality was unmatched. Mina was our contact person. Very gracious and kind."
