"Golden hotel is the perfect stay once landing in Christchurch and before leaving again. Very clean and nice space. Staff is also responsive and kind with inquiries. There is a Vietnamese cafe right on the main lobby so very convenient for a quick pick me up. Overall, would stay here again so definitely recommend!"

Only comment was that when we asked how to get the rugby on the tv channel, they weren't able to help and said to go over to the pub, which we did and saw it there, but maybe something that could be checked."

"Exactly as pictured. First time here and we absolutely loved it! Had no issues with check-in, the girl there was lovely. Rooms were clean and set up nicely, very cosy. Heat pump was automatic and we walked into a nice warm space and it automatically turned on in the morning also. Parking is limited but we managed to find one along the back. Roads weren't busy so it wasn't too loud but siren sounds could definitely be heard. We will definitely come back, very satisfied"

"Overall we had a good stay at the motel. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was convenient. Most parts of the experience were smooth and enjoyable. The only major issue was the airport shuttle service. We paid $15 to book the 6am shuttle to the airport, but it never arrived. We waited until 6:30am with no communication or update from the motel. In the end, we had to book an Uber ourselves for a very similar price just to make our flight. What was most disappointing...
