"Not very clean in the room and toilet,curtains was hanging off the runner's. There are 2 main roads each side of the hotel and it was very noisy.when booking they did say they didn't have a car park,but it was ok to use the hotel across the road,there isn't an hotel across the road.the only parking was a cricket club 500mtrs plus down the Rd to park at"

"The room was clean and large. There was an odd smell that bothered us, likely new paint or carpeting that had not been sufficiently aired out. There was no offer of assistance to lug our suitcases up two flights of stairs. We were not the only guest to struggle with this. Breakfast was good and the wait staff were friendly and efficient. "Front Reception was excellent! From that point on everything went down hill. A very run down room with a dirty window looking over the car park. Threadbare carpet and frayed edges of the mattress hanging down. Dated decor and a less than pristine bathroom with a disgusting non slip mat! Really! Loud music played in the breakfast room. "We had a wonderful stay in June in the woodlands chalet which featured a big hot tub and a huge comfy bed. The chalet was clean and modern, with all the essentials you could want provided such as tea, milk, biscuits and dishwashing liquid. The staff were all wonderful. We found our private courtyard with the hot tub was hot upon arrival and a great afternoon suntrap.
