"Air conditioning in the room did not work at all it was poor. The rooms have no privacy at all really other than a sliding door but all very open. The fridges in the room are Smeg but they are noisy and kick out some heat. The bar area has flies everywhere whilst trying to have a drink or food. The photos give you the impression it’s an isolated hotel however it’s just after a school it wasn’t what I thought and was disappointed"
"On arrival they took too long to allocate a room, the staff where not friendly, apart from the lady in the breakfast room. The room was clean but tired looking. Bed comfortable, breakfast good, suppose to be superior room but only a seaview difference from standard. Main problem was the reception staff who couldn't be bothered to welcome visitors or look up from what ever they were doing to interact with guests"

Property does need updating and is being refurbished ,my room was very clean as off the hotel its self.
Breakfast plentiful which was a buffet.

"The staff were extremely helpful helping us in and out with baggage and helping us in any way we needed. The only disapointment I felt was not taking gluten free that seriously . They did have the bread but meals were another thing and two days I had not choice of sweet. Otherwise I would go there again if we can travel that far another year."

I really liked the Headlands Hotel. I chose it because of its look and its location.
It turned out to be in some ways - the most “challenging” place I stayed in my journey.
The two gentlemen (Forgive me for forgetting their names.) who were there to help the travelers were both friendly and worked as hard as possible to make the stay a pleasant one. There were some communications difficulties due to our different backgrounds, but we all did our best. ...

The bar was not open, there was no security in the property upstairs room. Smells of someone smoking weed outside facilities on the grounds filthy overgrown wheat he cuts a cigarette button
