"Did not like anything about this hotel. Check in was a bit cold and robotic. The room was in bad need of repairs. There is no A/C so they gave us a small fan which helped a little. UK in the middle of a heatwave so A/C would have been nice. The overall appearance of the room was so very rundown and not taken care of at all. A few holes and the sink taps were literally not attached so we had to hold onto the whole thing so it would come off completely. Needs a very good paint refresh and...

"Nice property, well maintained. Very convenient as it was right next to Lime Street Railroad station. Unfortunately the room was an oven. With temperatures running in the mid-80's, it was HOT. No A/C, and the window only opens an inch. Not enough fresh air getting in the room. We spent a hot night with a loud fan running. Not a pleasant stay. Lodging in this part of the world needs to get into the 21st century and get some level of temperature control."

"Clean comfortable room. We have stayed here 3 times rooms are all alike and all have been clean. Breakfast is available cooked breakfast, cereal, fruit etc. Again we have always found breakfast adequate. Parking at the hotel is £5 for the night and again we have always been able to get parked. There is a nice bar in the hotel, staff this time were exceptional"

"Really great hotel to be based at for our visit to Liverpool. Lots of bars and restaurants below on the street. We had a room facing on to Castle Street. Hotel extended us to late checkout of 1pm which was fabulous. Air con wasn’t located conveniently in the room, but it didn’t get too warm. We had to get two lifts to our room, which were set apart. Added a bit of fun to get in and out each day (think this may be two original buildings integrated, so the lifts to each floor are separated). No...
