"The first floor doesn’t let you enjoy the view unless you like being exposed to the parking lot. The doors slam very hard when they close on the rooms so you hear loud slams all night. And the gym was being renovated so there was some other noises during the day."

The breakfast staff gave outstanding service and were friendly and welcoming. We had dinner with a large group and the staff did a wonderful job of dealing with a large, noisy group! "

"What a wonderful experience staying at the Borland House is! With the quaint, homey feeling of the whole house, to the kindness of the staff. Your stay will absolutely be lovely. Ample towels are provided for the private, spacious bathroom. Very comfortable bedding and well appointed decorations are in the bedroom. I was in the Hummingbird Suite. I could see myself living there, it just had everything I needed. I look forward to visiting again in the future!"

"We stayed two nights at this property, it is not a hotel at all, it is rooms for stay. The location is not in a great part of Middletown and looks nothing like the outside photo that is in the listing, and I was not comfortable leaving the property by myself. The first night we returned back, the front door to the building was wide open, we were scared to enter the building, and someone was parked in our designated space. I immediately contacted Expedia and they were not able to reach Norman....

"No reception. No response from the support no. Given after I reached there to realise that it’s unwelcoming property. I didn’t stay at property. Need refund of my money. Not worth spending this amount since you have better options available "
