"This property is kept neat and tidy. As soon as you walk in you can tell. Mats are clean, floors have been mopped. Elevator is spotless. Staff is very polite, including the lovely ladies that take care of breakfast. We have been staying here in Lindsay for a few years now and it's always been this way."
"Very charming cottage with great lake view. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen view was great and the cottage was tastefully decorated.
It was nice that there was heating and air conditioning which was surprisingly quiet.
The 2 bedroom unit we were in needs to be painted and well cleaned and the grounds need some work.
I understand the new owner is working to improve the property.
There was a new pontoon that we could rent for a day, which is a great feature of the property.

"What a wonderful weekend getaway at Away Cabins! Clean, comfortable accommodations, with a beautiful lake view. Quiet and relaxing! Thank you Debbie and Jason for a seamless check in/check out procedure."
"I went as a solo traveller in fall on a work trip. I was upgraded to a room with a porch and a view. The staff were excellent. I had dinner one night in the restaurant and the food and service was very good. My room was very comfortable. I would like to go back in season and stay in a cottage."
"My wife and I stayed at the Westwind Inn this past weekend and were disappointed by both the value and customer service.
When we arrived, the parking lot was nearly empty. We learned only 3 of the Inn's 32 rooms were occupied Friday night. Due to issues with the Inn's website, I had to book through Expedia and was assigned a woods-facing room. Given how empty the property was, I asked about moving to a lake-view room. Although many were available, I was charged an additional $75 per night plus...
"Over the Top B and B was excellent. The room and lounge are were spotless. The bed was very comfortable and the room was a generous size. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and was delivered to our room. I would highly recommend this B and B"
"Although the staff we encountered were fine and the lake view is beautiful, the condition of the "cottage" we stayed in was terrible. It had not been renovated and apparently not recently occupied. It had cobwebs, spiders and bugs (some should be expected given its location) and the walls and floor were quite dirty. The rate was what would be expected at a five-star resort, which this is not. "
