"The staff were very helpful and accommodating. And this hotel does have a bunch of amenities. There’s a whole convenience store located on the 4th floor. Overall our stay was pretty good. The only things that was bothersome was the size of the rooms. There’s practically zero space to store your luggage let alone move around. I wish I would’ve checked the size before we booked the room. "

The hotel is old but very clean. The bathroom amenities are of excellent quality and water pressure is very strong. It's a shame that the hotel will close next year. "Location was prime for the price point. Literally right in the heart of city walk for easy access to the theme park and all the food and souvenir spots in the area. The room was also very roomy and well kept. Only gripe was that there were very limited closet spaces and basically no drawers to store clothes. Will definitely consider this hotel again for next visit to Universal Studios Japan when Donkey Kong Country opens."

Villa Fontaine has everything you could want: clean, comfortable rooms, over-the-top buffet breakfasts serving western and Japanese treats, amazing baths, fantastic staff. "The hotel is clean and modern. I like how spacious the room is. However we ordered room service and they gave us the wrong order. It took another 1 hour for them to deliver. Totally we spent 2 hours on waiting for a grilled Steak rice bowl. It seems like the staffs there don't speak English well. And the bathtub is a bit stuck. Water doesn't go away quickly. "

"My favorite hotel in Osaka, I stay here every time now. There is a Fantastic food court in Osaka station that’s only a five minute walk. The hotel is New York style, elegant 1930s. So many transportation, opportunities, quiet area. But connected to everything."

I had to fiddle with the TV to find the home page for wifi password (which could have been printed on my check in ticket) but at 9:45am the next day the TV immediately turned on to remind me check out is at 10am and I would be charged if I stayed longer. "Smaller room than expected, the bathroom was smaller. Felt like a bathroom in a cruise ship room. My other stays in Japan had similar room sizes, I guess that's how it is in Japan. All in all a decent place to stay."
