"Good location, parking right in front of unit, clean bedroom, clean beddings, clear instructions about everything in the room, responsive staff.
Had to ask for milk as there was none when we checked in. Towels were changed daily, the rest of the room wasn't serviced daily.
Bathroom has black mould on cables that are on top of sink. Those mold rained on the sink every now and then. It was pointless trying to clean the sink by ourselves as the "dust" kept falling down. Notified the reception...
"Right in the town centre so easy to walk to cafes and the shops. Good sized room, adequate cooking facilities, really quiet except for the rubbish truck at 4.30am!"
"Price was right, free parking was included. Room and bathroom were clean. The owner was very kind and helpful choosing the right restaurant for dinner. It was also surprisingly quiet during the night although the motel is at the main road. We enjoyed our stay."

Put lotion on and they started to go away. Then after the second night, I woke up with far worse bites. " The chalets are gorgeous. Beautifully appointed with lovely bathroom products, the towels are divine and the king sized bed was incredibly comfortable. The hosts are very warm and welcoming and the kitchen is sensational. We loved it here. You can either cook in the kitchen or a short walk to a vast array of foody options"

"Great place to stay. Room was very spacious (esp. after dogbox in Auckland) clean and tidy. OK, it is not new, but everything was in working order and full stove, fridge and microwave, plus plenty of utensils, made cooking easy. They also have a small, but adequate, gym on site. We had to hole up here during Cyclone Gabrielle and it was fine for the three nights we stayed. Staff and owners were very helpful and chatty. Bonus was being able to watch T20 Womens World Cup on TV!"
