"Property was nice great spot! Restaurant not much of a selection for food and what they had not great. Hall way carpet was a mess needs replaced and attention to detail in a lot of areas was lacking paint all over ceiling tiles on tile very messy had to adjust ceiling tiles in shower could see up in to utility area cleaner came to clean room I asked them to come back in a 1/2 hr. They agreed never came back. Just things you wouldn’t expect from a higher end resort! "

"The staff was terrific. I paid to have a room on the main floor facing the pool and we ended up on the ground floor which I was not happy about. Our bedside table had fingernails on it - that was gross and our sink was dirty. "

"I was in town for a funeral. The room was clean but the carpet was older and was tacky when walking on it. It wasn't dirty just tacky. Not a big issue but something you may want to look at."

"Great place for Glamping! Comfortable and relaxing! I took my sister for her bday. We enjoyed the fire and food and drink I prepared and brought with us. The next day we relaxed, rented bikes and rode the Shining Sea Bike trail into Woods Hole and shopped and had lunch and rode back. Absolutely beautiful ride by the ocean. ALL the staff were great! Friendly, professional, helpful! Top Notch Staff!"

"There were a number of young sports teams here. They were very loud , not controlled by the hotel or parents. This went on most of the night. When I am paying $ 300 a night I expect a hotel where I can have a good night sleep. Not happy at all!"

"this is a beautiful boutique guest house/hotel. One block back from the seafront, some rooms have sea views, the accommodation is meticulously and spotlessly kept clean. Everything is in beautiful order. The host, Walt, with his dry sense of humour, welcomes the guest and makes people feel welcome. "Our door to the hallway had a big gap under it. I felt like anyone in the hall could hear us talking. No screen on a window left us sweltering all night. Other window had road noise. Great shower pressure! Mattress horrible. Seaview suite was a room with a bathroom and parking lot/roof view. Great breakfast. "

The bathrooms were very cramped, with no shelves to place toiletries near the sink, nor hooks to hang anything. The shower was spacious enough, and the shower pressure was great, but the toilet seat was the most uncomfortable I have ever sat on in a hotel.
