A few friendly cats in the area, buy some whiskers from the grocery store and make some friends. Sloths in the tree outside. The beach is a few feet away if that’s your thing as well, very shallow water but a refreshing dip. The jungle park is just down the street, 6km out and back close to the beach with some good wildlife. Friendly locals, probably a bit crowded during busy season, but all good vibes. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants but they all have similar menus, not the greatest cuisine but good enough. "

"The only thing I didn't like was the restaurant. We ordered two lobster dinners and were served shrimp. When we stole the waitress that we ordered lobster and got shrimp, she looked at our plates and said, "no, that is lobster." I said no it is not and so did my grandson. Then she came back and said they could correct only one plate. I said, "how is that reasonable? We ordered two lobster plates and got shrimp. Why wouldn't you correct both?" It was a big to do and by the time I got my dinner, I had lost my appetite. Both the shrimp and lobster were over cooked."
