Used the bar a couple of nights and it was great to sit in the outside area at the rear of the hotel overlooking the basin. "The room was very spacious and clean. Had all the things we needed, hangers, iron, kettle tv and sofa. Shower was clean and nice to use. The staff were excellent very polite and happy. Looked like they enjoyed there job and engaged with us well and helped us with any problems we had (we couldn’t get into the room safe after 2 mins of arriving) The area around the hotel was very nice only a 5-10 minute walk to the village centre which had restaurants, pubs, shops there is also a bus and train...

Hairs on the floor ie blonde im dark haired very Noisy , loose toilet seat. & toilet holder which moved everytime you tried to take toilet roll off, shower started spraying out water at 1.15am in the morning Sticky table,My handbag stuck to it, ripped chair in the room aswell Room 305 Would i stay again NO Plus when you get to the hotel you have to pay a £50 deposit for the room thats after you have paid for the room"

"Clean rooms, good food and food choice, friendly staff. I was less pleased that a couple came into the restaurant area with their dog which they allowed to walk on their chosen table. A number of members of staff obviously saw this but chose to ignore it. There seems to be little point in having a high cleanliness rating if dog owners are not only allowed to bring their animal in to the restaurant but then not challenged when abusing that permission"

"Stayed in the Abbey Road themed room. Room was clean. The shower was tiny similar to one you would have in a mobile home. The Beatles themed room was a stretch, needed more memorabilia. Breakfast was continental basic minimal choice. There was however free tea and coffee all day which was a bonus and a discount on the car park. Over all not bad for the price"
