"The room needs updating. We were put in the gloomy below road basement ( maybe because we had a lower price through expedia?) The receptionist on arrival was not welcoming & curt. Breakfast was good as was the waiting service there. "

"Hotel is in a great position for visiting Bristol and the theatre. The room was clean and well furnished, and the breakfast was good. The hotel offers discounted parking at the Millenium car park opposite. Would edefinitely recommend this hotel."

"The staff were very nice and had no issues with them, the surrounding area was great, plenty of shops and things to explore. The Hotel needs a fair amount of work to bring it up, the room although clean needs redecorating, scuffed torn wallpaper, chipped furniture, cracked tiles are not a good look. The room is next to the town centre but it was very noisy so we hardly slept, two beds were pushed together and they were very uncomfortable, one dipped to one side when you laid on it. "They put me into the top of the building up 4 flights of stairs in a room with no radiator BUT a fan from Argos approx 10 in tall was the only form of Heat =ABSOLUTE PATHETIC !"

"The carpets were very stained and the furniture was dated, but the room and the bathroom were clean, the bed was very comfortable. All the staff Clare, Flo and Judith were really helpful with checking in and any questions I had."
