"There was no easy access to the airport by foot. Taxi was ok. Room was clean but very hot. This was easily resolved by turning the radiator off and opening the window. We were misled when booking thinking that the restaurant would be open. We had to order takeaway and wait 2 hours for food. The hotel does not accept cash which seems to be the way everyone is going. Staff were friendly and chatty."

"**Disappointing stay, particularly for an elderly guest** We booked a two\-night stay based on the hotel’s excellent 8\.8 rating on Expedia, but unfortunately our experience fell well short of expectations\. On arrival, reception was unattended and our keys had been left on the desk. Staffing was extremely limited, the dining room was cold and we had to eat in the adjoining pub instead. "Lovely comfortable room and excellent staff. We really liked the food- dinner and breakfast were spot on."

"1 night stay for work purposes. Great little room, it had everything needed. Bed a little squeaky but for 1 night it was fine. Very clean and welcoming, good location and managed to park easily."

"Everything was great. Maybe a usb charging point might have been good in the room. The only annoying thing was the shower gel dispenser in the bath. It didnt work. Luckily i had my own to hand."

"A lovely building and room with a great restaurant"

"We enjoyed our room with a view over the nearby river. Recommend having that room. The TV did not work the first day but we were recompensed for that. The room needs side tables. Breakfast was ok. Not outstanding but sufficient. Be good to have fresh coffee not instant and better quality sausages instead of off the shelf super market quality. All in all enjoyed our stay with a nice country location"

"Very pleasing location with great view to Bristol Channel. Super friendly and helpful young couple is running it. If we would be in Lynton again, definetely we would consider to be there again!"
