"This was my first stay in Tenderloin, never again will I stay in this area of SF. Parking is a nightmare and there are drug addicts/homeless everywhere! Walking up to the hotel, I came across human feces and urine just steps away from the hotel entrance. The elevator is very small and there is only one elevator for the hotel. As for my room, it reeked of cigarettes, and I was clearly able to hear the guests next door. My next door neighbor was speaking loudly all night, possibly another drug...

"This was my favorite place to stay when in SFO but now I will think about it. On checking in I got absolutely worst room even though paying a high rate -they moved me on request. Key to room didn’t work. Got stuck in elevator (front desk just acted like deer in headlights). No coffee in room without request. Blow dryer didn’t work. I think they just aren’t paying attention. Good location."

"Room is noisy, can hear neighbors and footsteps from above room. Parking cost is way too expensive ($80 a day)."

"Nice"

"Room smelled musty and the carpet was rather dirty and sticky. No slippers were provided. I thought the room was overpriced for not having AC. The experience was worse because I stayed in the middle of a heat wave too. The only positive was location which is quite central and close to Union Square, although that also meant it was pretty noisy at night."

"It is a unique place to stay. Great location. A little inconvenient the amenities were not onsite but at the sister inn"

"The Tavern was awesome! The food was excellent"
