"The hotel has no AC - that’s fine but tell me BEFORE I make the reservation and not when I try to find the switch in the room after checking in!!!! The website would be a great place. Have fans to replace AC (NOT effective) that don’t squeak all night and don’t put me on the top floor where it’s hot as hell. If you offer airport transportation on your website then follow thru. Advising guest to take a $70 taxi or Uber when you arrive because they can’t accommodate a pick up is not acceptable....

"Clean room and comfortable bed"

"Clean room, we stayed in a 2bdr room which had ample space, Comfortable beds, room had everything we needed. Would stay again. Restaurant just around the corner which was so convenient"

"A cross between a hostel and hotel. Lots of young and happy travellers with a large hang out lounge/workspace/kitchen area for them. Bed was very comfortable. Excellent location so easy to walk everywhere and a block from the bus station. The bar makes excellent cocktails and the morning breakfast was excellent."

"Very well equipped room and everything is great! Love the attention to details on the kitchen!"

"All great, superb location"

"This is a cheap and cheerful option. Off the road and plenty of parking"

"Excellent value for money. Spacious, clean, well set up. Would highly recommend."

"Clean and tidy room. Best shower I have had in a hotel."

"The rooms were very spacious, the beds were comfortable. The soa pool and swimming pool were very refreshing. The staff were super helpful. I would recommend staying here to anyone passing through Christchurch."

"Clean and convenient."

"I stayed on the bottom floor. My room was nice, recently updated, great bed and bathroom. But unfortunately I could hear a lot of noise from upstairs (water in the pipes, movement etc) as well as street noise which made it difficult to go to sleep. I recommend asking for a room on the top floor. Be aware there is limited on site parking. There is street parking but there are time limits during the week."

"Lovely property"

"best place to stay with family"

"The room itself wasn't great (quite dated furniture, tiny windows, and some broken items like the bedside lamps which need to be fixed), but strangely the bathroom was quite nice! The carpark under the building was quite tight to get in and out of, and we had to reverse out once to let someone else leave as there's no room to pass on the way in or out. The bed was actually quite comfortable, and the location was convenient for us, so I could have looked past the other issues, if it weren't...

"Close to everything. Very quiet"
