"The staff was great. When they saw how bad my husband's walking was, they switched us to a closer room, without us even asking. The room was very nice, modern and clean. Pools were beautiful and clean. Pool bars had excellent service, and drinks as you like them. My only concern was how thoroughly the non- disposable drink cups were washed? My favorite part was seeing the monkeys playing in the trees near the pools! The food was ok. Steakhouse was very good. Asian restaurant was excellent....

"Our family of 2 adults & 2 teens stayed for 1 night at Villas Sol. The view was breathtaking of sunset on the pacific during dinner on the terrace of the main restaurant. All staff were very courteous and helpful. Theres 3 rooms per complex perched on a very steep hill.. even taking luggage out was difficult!!! Use the park brake. Even though the small 2 double beds room was clean, it was very dated; cracked tiles There is a convenient shuttle around complex & 2 Great swimming pools with bar....

"This hotel has a great location, right on the beach. There are no loungers,umbrella rentals or public restrooms on Potrero Beach so being at the hotel you have all of that. The water there is calm, great for swimming. Similar to many places in Costa Rica there were some plumbing issues, plugged toilet and plugged shower drain but maintenance fixed it right away and we were fine for the rest of the stay.
