"Cute hotel, room was nice, beds comfortable. Elevator was broken for part of the stay, ice machine is on the ground floor so it was a trek down the stairs from the second. Breakfast was mediocre, cereal was mostly gone everytime we went down, within an hour of it starting it felt like things weren't stocked. Microwaveable Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, and a breakfast pita was your choice along with cereal and toast. Oj or milk, would have been nice for some bottled water or other juice. Maybe...

"The only thing that we didn’t like was that the toilet was so close to the ground. I am not really tall and it bothered me but my husband is 6”4 and it was really hard on him. Otherwise everything was fine the staff was very friendly and the property was great. Just need higher toilets. "

"Netflix was not available on the TV although it had a designated button on the remote. Staff advised it just wasn’t working and nobody there knew how to fix it. No plastic bags in trashcans made it difficult to handle smelly food scraps after food delivery. Requested view of Bay room and got the parking lot. Parking fee was not mentioned in room quote or booking receipt…it was $20 and no available street parking nearby. Price was affordable for the area though."

"The Cottages is as beautiful and comfortable as the high priced hotels. Everything is low key and easy. The staff is incredibly competent and friendly. There is no pretense here, it's perfect."
