"Great spacious room, great location, walkable to restaurants and city sites. Friendly staff and offered luggage storage which was very helpful. No refrigerator in room but we managed without it. "

"Very clean and absolutely the best staff. Rooms are huge the buffet that is offered for breakfast is worth the money. Very close to the Royal Mile making Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood an easy walk. It is a 9 minute walk to the Waverly Bridge Airlink stop. Making it easy to get to and from the airport."

"Really nice hotel with a lot of character. Nice large room with a large en-suite. Good breakfast ( although i never did get any eggs) it was always empty and told they were coming. Nice bar with good selection of draught beer. Nice outdoor seating areas.Has local bus stop right at hotel to get into town center. Being an older hotel there is no elevator and has quite a few stairs to climb.Overall still worth staying to get the location and helpful staff."

"Edinburgh uni Summer Stay at Pollock Halls was fantastic. From the easy and friendly check-in it all went smoothly. Great selection at breakfast with lots of seating available. Very helpful and friendly breakfast staff. Shared bathroom was very clean as as expected for uni accommodation. Bed was very comfy. 100% recommend."
