"Great location by the sea. Bit noisy traffic wise during the day but quiet at night. Clean comfortable accommodation. Great having on-site parking."

"The property was spacious, easy access to places in Dunedin and a parking spot, but there is quite a bit of maintainance in the unit (15) required. The toilet, shower , bathroom , kitchen area need updating as really let the unit down and it wasn't that cheap to stay in. There was 1 flashing bulb that needs action in the sofa area and the bedside lamp nearest the window is dangerous as exposed wire and intermitant light and the plug needs moving as sleeping with a plug socket in your head area...

"Friendly staff. Breakfast included. Close to central Dunedin. Comfortable beds & a good price. Limited parking."

"Clean room and the kitchen facilities"

"Great dinner"

"Good stay"

"Clean and tidy."

"Nice clean room. Nice building. Nice hosts. Parking a bit awkward for larger vehicle as small parking space but it's an old building so can understand. One night parked in the street but another night managed to get into the car park, with 1cm away from the wall. Would recommend."

"This was my favorite place to stay so far the whole trip. We have been on the road for 4 weeks. It was cozy, beautiful, comfortable, and thank goodness they had a back way into the hotel. I was on crutches. My husband said it was his favorite also."

"Great central location, set back off the road with lovely gardens and didn’t hear any road noise at night. Spacious unit with modern facilities. Perfect for our 2 night stay."

"The room was spotless and very well maintained, the staff came out to greet us and get us settled into our room even though it was out of hours. The thing I like most was the room was spacious with decent seating. So often rooms are cramped and have uncomfortable chairs. The bed was very comfy and most importantly the pillows were good quality and clean."

"Lovely motel with friendly staff, close to the town centre, gardens, and NZ’s first University."

"Our stay was good, we were only there one night."

"Oh my goodness this stay was fabulous! We travelled New Zealand and this has been our favorite stay! Beachwood is perfectly located to everything and the room was beautifully appointed. We had a full kitchen, a comfy bed and plenty of living space to spread out into. Our hosts, Dion and Mackey were lovely. They gave us lots of tips and checked in daily to be sure we had everything we needed. Don't hesitate! Book it! You won't be disappointed! The Mahers - USA"

"Close proximity and good walking distance (10-15min) to many cafes and restaurants. The room is spacious snd clean. Love the bed, comfy and slept so well!"

"Good size for our family and good location. Room was very musty smelling and had a faint smell of smoke. Cigarette butts were left on the door mats and around car park. The sheets are velvety and strange feeling so had to sleep on top of the top sheet. The court yard area was dirty and had rubbish in it. Wifi was pretty poor and although there is a big sign out the front for Netflix it didn’t work on either of the tvs."

"The staff were exceptional, amenities were as described, location was outstanding, walking distance to so many things. Breakfast was lovely."
