"On arrival they took too long to allocate a room, the staff where not friendly, apart from the lady in the breakfast room. The room was clean but tired looking. Bed comfortable, breakfast good, suppose to be superior room but only a seaview difference from standard. Main problem was the reception staff who couldn't be bothered to welcome visitors or look up from what ever they were doing to interact with guests"
"The staff were very helpful. At the moment there is work being done to improve the outside of the building, we were told about this. The food was excellent, with plenty of choice."
"The view from our superior room was amazing, looking over the Menai straits and the pier.
Breakfast was very disappointing. Ours had been kept warm and was very dry.
The stairs were an issue. You couldn't avoid them to access the building. I had indicated issues with mobility when i booked but the hotel only sent info about them the day before after free cancellation was impossible.
The Indian meal was satisfactory.
The waitress was very helpful although with limited English."
"The staff were extremely helpful helping us in and out with baggage and helping us in any way we needed. The only disapointment I felt was not taking gluten free that seriously . They did have the bread but meals were another thing and two days I had not choice of sweet. Otherwise I would go there again if we can travel that far another year."
"The rooms and facilities were ok, however the main reception staff were not the friendliest or very welcoming. We were charged extra for our afternoon tea, however following our stay I sent the resort management two emails so we could look at addressing our concerns. Two weeks later we are still awaiting a response. As such we would not recommend staying with Marian resort. The location is also not great with no amenities nearby. As such we would not recommend this place."
"Great place in North Wales. Staff super helpful and great communication when we were delayed en route.
Great shower and fab full Welsh breakfast. Will stay again"
"Headlands Hotel Review and Suggestions
I really liked the Headlands Hotel. I chose it because of its look and its location.
It turned out to be in some ways - the most “challenging” place I stayed in my journey.
The two gentlemen (Forgive me for forgetting their names.) who were there to help the travelers were both friendly and worked as hard as possible to make the stay a pleasant one. There were some communications difficulties due to our different backgrounds, but we all did our best. ...
