"This place was a pleasant surprise. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. Continental Breakfast is included and the price was very reasonable. PLUS! There is a wonderful set of thermal pools that guests can use anytime. So relaxing right next to a river; it’s a bit of a walk but so worth it! The rooms were a little on the “well loved” side but clean and warm and a great respite from the rain. "

We could easily drive to Cambridge for any meals or provisions. I recommend Kauri Lodge as a great stay in the area."
