"I really enjoyed my stay here, the room was clean and the bed comfy. The views were soothing.
The only thing I would change is the bed headboards . I am so accustomed to higher bed headboards at hotels that my husband and I hit our heads. We laughed it off but besides that the bed was comfy and the staff was extremely pleasant especially the lady the checked us and in. I would stay here again."
"EXPEDIA should be ashamed of themselves to have a property in their system of this caliber!! This is CANADA. We have much higher standards than this. Upon arrival, the door/screen door was wide open and upon entering there was NOBODY in the whole house. I called the phone number of the Mamora Inn and got a person who said " write your name & particulars on the paper at the desk and let yourself in, I will be back there at 9:30p" (this was at 4p). The cleanliness was a zero, the house smelt...
"My wife and I stayed at the Westwind Inn this past weekend and were disappointed by both the value and customer service.
When we arrived, the parking lot was nearly empty. We learned only 3 of the Inn's 32 rooms were occupied Friday night. Due to issues with the Inn's website, I had to book through Expedia and was assigned a woods-facing room. Given how empty the property was, I asked about moving to a lake-view room. Although many were available, I was charged an additional $75 per night plus...
"Lovely stay at a lovely property. Beds were comfy with glorious linens, in rooms on the smaller side. Stairs are curved and fairly steep so not great for anyone with stair issues. Spectacular views and gorgeous sitting areas in a unique rustic setting. Host went above and beyond to accomodate us. Kitchen was adequately stocked for basic meal prep. Would definitely recommend this place to others."
"The hosts were gracious, generous and helpful with ideas of things to do and see in the area. The river view from our room was beautiful and peaceful."
"Although the staff we encountered were fine and the lake view is beautiful, the condition of the "cottage" we stayed in was terrible. It had not been renovated and apparently not recently occupied. It had cobwebs, spiders and bugs (some should be expected given its location) and the walls and floor were quite dirty. The rate was what would be expected at a five-star resort, which this is not. "
"The room was dark and dingy and had pluming issues , not only are room but the entire resort to bad because the resort has a nice beech and beautiful view of the lake . I would have to say the rooms are tired and in need of an up date . Hey that's just my opinion but I have to say I've been there 4 times I guess it's the views and the call of the loons that get me every time ."
