"We were looking at properties in the area and needed a place to stay overnight. Annette and Al were wonderful hosts and gave us the skinny on places to eat and nearby attractions. Not to mention that their property was gorgeous and a real treat to wake up in and go for a meander around the pond with a coffee."

"Love the quaint apartment with two bedrooms, living room, small kitchen, and one bathroom. Perfect size for 4 people. Breakfast items in the fridge to make. The gardens are beautiful to look at, it gives you a sense of tranquility. I highly recommend staying at Burley's Garden and suite. The owner received us with a warm welcome and great conversation about Peterborough and other places."

"Westwind is located in beautiful natural environment in the woods and by the water. Sport equipments is available such as boats, bicycles and the modest version of the golf range. Gardens are beautifully arranged and the native canadian plants such as trillium were blooming. Looking forward to enjoy this quite place again."

Location: It is situated in an idea place, with the Coach house being it's own little house and separated from the main house. It means it's very private and like being at your own cottage. The river location is amazing, ideally located and easy to access. Amenities: Great Hot Tub with stunning view, Great Deck, Canoeing, Kayaks, Breakfast was AMAZING!, loads of outdoor...

"The room was dark and dingy and had pluming issues , not only are room but the entire resort to bad because the resort has a nice beech and beautiful view of the lake . I would have to say the rooms are tired and in need of an up date . Hey that's just my opinion but I have to say I've been there 4 times I guess it's the views and the call of the loons that get me every time ."
