"The staff were pleasant and helpful. However I must comment on your room description on the Expedia site, which stated that a double room was 323 sq ft. The room we were allocated was smaller at just over 200 sq.ft. There was no safe, as advertised on your room description and also, due to the room size the access to the wardrobe was restricted due to the dressing table partially being in the way.
Generally speaking, we enjoyed our stay despite the room restrictions."

We put drinks on room during day time; then were charged for all of them on dinner receipt (therefore we were charged service charge on daytime bar drinks). Bizarre given we had added card to room for that exact purpose (I didn’t want to have a card allocated to room, but was told it wasn’t optional, then had bill presented at dinner anyway). "Room is clean and quiet. Air-conditioner is definitely a plus during heatwave. We were able to have a nice sleep after a day long activity. Staff are very helpful to accommodate our request. On Sunday, the bar closes a bit earlier, so we missed the last order time. But we were able to have a dinner at the bar on a weekday. The food quality is superb in the area. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will stay again next year."
"Room and bathroom clean and spacious. Bar and food good. Staff friendly. Buses outside to nearby villages. Train station 5 mins which was really useful for getting around and local shop, pub and cafe 5 mins. Social club 5 mins. Great band and friendly people. Car parking at rear. Beach 10 mins."
"Loved this posh B&B. Beautiful old building set in a delightful town. Great base to explore places like Wells next the Sea, Sheringham, Holkham and Blakeney. Friendly attentive staff. Lovely food. Comfortable room. The attention to detail made it even better. Goodnight cookies shaped like moons. Free after dinner chocolates in the residents only bar. Welcome biscuits in the room. Complimentary toiletries that smelt yummy. Loved reading about their 25 year journey and looking at all the photos....
"Sue and Clive have a well deserved good reputation. We wanted an immersive English countryside experience in a 400 year old Inn, and that is what we got. A delicious full English breakfast is included in the room price."
"The whole place was a bit dingy with tired decor and furnishings. Lack of decent reliable WiFi in the rooms was a big drawback. Room resembled a prison cell. Clean and good quality bedding was one of the few plus points. I expected something like a Travelodge for the price paid and was very disappointed."
"Great location, but room was in poor condition (mouldy tiles, discoloured toilet seat, cracks & holes in the walls) & not clean. If you have mobility issues, there are lots of steps.Breakfast available if arranged the previous day. Free parking on the road, but spaces are taken quickly"
